Can't decide whether to get your scuba certification while on vacation or at home before you travel? With a PADI® eLearning, you can start your scuba training digitally whenever, wherever it's convenient for you– then, finish your certification once you're here. This means you can avoid studying during your vacation! 


Upon completion, you'll receive your PADI Open Water Diver certification, which is the first scuba certification level. Then, a highly-trained PADI Instructor will teach you how to scuba dive in the warm waters of Roatan!  By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and knowledge to dive at home or abroad and be an ambassador for the underwater world. 


Includes:

  • 5 confined/shallow-water practice "mini dives."
  • 4 Open-water boat dives.
Course prerequisites: 
  • 10 years minimum age 
  • Able to swim, medically fit for diving, comfortable in the water 
  • Completed knowledge development online with PADI eLearning

Your instructor will ask you to: 
  • Float or tread water without aids for 10 minutes
  • Swim 200 meters/yards with no aids or 300 meters/yards with mask, fins, and snorkel 

Time commitment: 
  • PADI eLearning: 5 - 10 hours 
  • Confined Waterwork and Open-water dives: 2 - 3 days
